International Festival of Young Winners of Music Competitions

On Sunday, October 20, the penultimate concert of the 34th edition of the International Festival of Young Laureates of Music Competitions took place.The Szymanowski and Mendelssohn quartets were performed by the Messages Quartet and the Aperto String Quartet, and thanks to the combined forces of both ensembles, we also heard the String Octet, Op. 20, written by Felix Mendelssohn at the age of 16.The concert, which took place in the beautiful interior of the Bolesław Szabelski Auditorium at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.
